1781

Divine Birth

Born as Ghanshyam in Chhapaiya, Uttar Pradesh, marking the beginning of a divine mission to restore dharma and spiritual purity.

1792

Renunciation & Pilgrimage

At the age of 11, He left home and began a 7-year spiritual pilgrimage across India as Nilkanth Varni, practicing intense austerities and spreading devotion.

1800

Arrival in Gujarat

Reached Gujarat and met Ramanand Swami, deepening the spiritual movement rooted in bhakti and moral reform.

Spiritual Leadership

Appointed as the spiritual successor and formally established the Swaminarayan Sampraday, guiding thousands toward disciplined spiritual living.

First Mandir Established
